New Asphalt Paving

We pave Parking Lots, Driveways, Roads, Pathways and moire. Asphalt is a very durable surface for our Utah climate and is very flexible in all seasons, especially in those transition months of freezing and thawing during fall, winter and spring. Also the black color attracts heat and speeds up the melting process which minimizes shoveling and plowing during the winter months. Asphalt is America's most recycled material making it the most sustainable pavement available today. All the components used in asphalt paving are able to be re-used in new projects and repairs to eliminate waste.

Asphalt Paving Repair

We do Overlays, Rip out & Replace and Patching. Grading

Probably the most important aspect of any asphalt driveway is its grade. If the grading is not done properly you are most likely to have a water problem. You may have water going into the garage, standing water near your house, or puddles in your driveway, even ponds on your lawn. If your driveway has any kind of water problem, then most likely poor pitch or grading was the key factor. Driveways need to be pitched away from the house and when possible down towards the street. It is always best to pitch the driveway in more than one direction when possible.

Striping

Quality asphalt striping provides direction for the safe use of your parking areas. When done correctly, parking lot striping will clearly define parking areas, loading and unloading zones, cross walks and driving lanes to ensure that your customers have a safe experience. A well-executed design will also allow for optimal parking space to ensure that the right number of spaces are available for your given space. The appearance of your parking lot says a lot about your business to potential customers. With asphalt striping, your company is able to capitalize on your parking lot and improve the overall image of your facility.

Seal Coating

Asphalt seal coating is a liquid application that helps prevent the oxidation and breakdown of asphalt surfaces over time. Because asphalt pavement is a petroleum-based product, it will react with other petroleum-based products like gasoline and oil. When this occurs, the once rich-black surface will turn brown or gray and will start to crack and wear. This is because the waterproof, elastic properties of the asphalt are not maintained. As a result, the aggregate surface beneath will become damaged. Furthermore, this elasticity allows the pavement to expand and contract without experiencing structural breakdown. Asphalt seal coating helps to maintain these elastic properties and the overall integrity of the surface. We use Tuffcoat seal coat; a commercial grade sealer, specially formulated for Northern Utah's harsh climate. Seal coating prevents oxidation, fills asphalt surface gaps (spider cracks), prevents water penetration, restores luster and vital oils your asphalt needs.

Hot Rubberized Crack Sealing

Crack Sealing Helps prevent water intrusion into the base material or subgrade causing failures in the asphalt if you have cracks .25 inch or larger it is recommended that your Crack seal prior to other asphalt treatment such as seal coating. Crack sealing Fills large cracks, keeps moisture out and stops further cracking. It is recommend sealing large cracks as soon as possible to prevent further cracking. We use top quality crack seal provided by Maxwell Products.

It is recommended you apply seal coat one year after a new installation and then every three to four years thereafter, to protect your investment. Any large cracks should be filled with crack seal before application of seal coat. Seal coat application is weather dependent and temperatures need to 50 degrees and rising for a proper cure. Product will be safe to drive on with no hard turns after 24 hours and will be fully cured in 48 hours. Crack seal can be applied in any temperature and cures within minutes; however surface has to be dry for crack seal to adhere.
